NSPCC - Speak out Stay safe
Year 5/6 Jemison and Year 2 Mandela took part in the NSPCC - Speak out Stay Safe workshop today. The workshop helped children understand:
- abuse in all its forms and how to recognise the signs of abuse
- that abuse is never a child’s fault and they have the right to be safe
- where to get help and the sources of help available to them, including the Childline service.
The NSPCC workshop leaders commented that it was clear to see how the school have embedded and worked on ensuring that all the children know who are their trusted adults are and who the children should go to for help.
