  • Reception Christmas Song Performance

    Reception Rosen Class performed their Christmas Songs to parents. They all sang so beautifully with actions and even instruments. This was their first performance in front of a large audience, and they all did exceptionally well and sang with confidence.

    Year 1 Kahlo and Year 2 Mandela performed Christmas Songs to parents. The children sang beautifully and with confidence. Thank you to all the parents who attended.

  • Christmas Lunch and Jumper Day

    Published 13/12/23

    The whole school enjoyed Christmas lunch today, pulling crackers and getting into the festive spirit. We even had a special visit from Santa Claus!

    Thank you to all the children who also wore their Christmas jumpers and bought a £1 donation which will be given to the charity - Save the Children.

  • Christmas Pantomime

    Today, the school was very quiet as most of the school went to Millfield Theatre to watch the Christmas pantomime 'Sleeping Beauty.' The pantomime was enjoyed by all of the children and a great for them all to experience going to the theatre.

  • Year 4 Farah Class Assembly

    Year 4 Farah Class showcased the learning that has been taking place in class this term. It was lovely to see how all the children were so confident and able to recite their lines so well.

  • Sustainability Conference

    Two of our Delta Parliament MPs attended the Sustainability Conference at our Trust office. They were joined by other children from the Trust schools. 

    The MPs discussed the initiative One Planet Living, which focusses on ten elements of sustainability. Each school discussed what we are currently doing and what we can be done to make further improvements.

  • Friendship Pledge

    Today a child from each class read out their Friendship Pledge to the rest of the school. Many of the pledges mentioned being kind, honest and respectful towards each other.

    The children also enjoyed making Friendship loom band bracelets for each other and proudly showing them to all their friends and teachers.

  • Kindness Week and Odd Socks Day

    This week is Kindness and Friendship Week. To kickstart the week the children have come into school wearing their most colourful and amazing odd socks. The children also bought a £1 donation. We had a lot of different coloured socks alongside our school uniform.

  • Houses of Parliament

    Today, our Year 6 Head MP and previous class MP had a wonderful opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament and take part in the Children's Rights Inquiry debate. The children listened to debates on the Environment & Climate, Racism & Discrimination and Mental Health and Free School Meals. They also had the opportunity to ask questions to the guest speakers.

  • Delta Parliament Results 2023 - 2024

    Today, the whole school had a special Delta Parliament Results Assembly. All the votes were counted and the results were very close! 

    We would like to introduce you to our new Delta Parliament for 2023 - 2024. The MPs and the Year 6 Head MP will be have a Parliament meeting very soon and will be discussing the changes that all the children would like to see in the school.

  • Delta Parliament Week

    This week it is UK and Delta Parliament Week. We started off the week by each class nominating children from their class to run for MP and the Year 6 candidates also reading their Manifestos to the whole school, giving reasons why they should be the Year 6 Head MP.
