  • Delta Parliament Week

    This week it is UK and Delta Parliament Week. We started off the week by each class nominating children from their class to run for MP and the Year 6 candidates also reading their Manifestos to the whole school, giving reasons why they should be the Year 6 Head MP.

  • Battle of the Bands

    Well done to all the following children who took part in the TTRockstars battle of the bands. The children all received a certificate for the who were in the top 3 from their class.

  • Express Yourself!

    Today, the children came into school wearing their school uniform but also expressing themselves by either wearing different coloured trainers and socks, having their nails painted or wearing different hair accessories and bought a £1 into school.

    The money raised will help buy more new books for the classroom. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

  • Delta Poetry Performance

  • Outdoor PE

    Year 4 Farah Class enjoyed having their outdoor PE lesson. The children worked really well as a team, showing resilience and good sportsmanship.

  • TfL Presentation and Safety Workshop

    Today, we had Transport for London carry out a presentation and workshop with Year 5/6 Jemison Class. The Presentation discussed important topics such as how confident and respnsible do the children feel when travelling independently, knowing how to plan a journey using public transport, road safety awareness, personal safety, how to get help on public transport when travelling, remembering to respect and be polite on public transport and the benefits of being active such as walking and cycling).

  • Reception Rosen Class

    Rosen Class have made a great start to the academic year and are now in school full time. They have transitioned well and are in a good learning and school routine. The children have also been enjoying learning through play in our indoor and outdoor continuos provision.

  • First Day of Term

    It was wonderful to see all the children return to school today. They all looked very smart in their school uniform and were very eager to be back at school.

    The class teachers have been reminding the children about our Delta Values, how Kindness is our superpower and our high expectations for behaviour for learning and how to be good role models.

  • Goodbye Year 6 Carver

    It is also a sad time of year as we say a fond farewell to our Year 6 children as they prepare to move to secondary school. We could not be more proud of this cohort of children and the way that they have approached their studies in Year 6, particularly back in May when they took their SATs papers. The children approached SATs week with maturity and resilience and they did their absolute best. Since then, they have enjoyed a trip to London, shared their memories at their Year 6 assembly and enjoyed a party to celebrate their time at Delta. On behalf of everyone at Delta we would like to wish all of our Year 6 children every success as they embark on the next stage of their educational journey.

  • Celebration Assembly

    Today, we had our final assembly for the academic year. All the teachers had chosen children who received the following certificates - English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Art awards. These awards were given to children who had shown passion, dedication and more importantly progress within the individual subject.

    We also celebrated our Pupil of the term award. Again, teachers had chosen children from their class who have followed our Delta Values - Respect, Resilience, Responsibility and Kindness along with always making the right choices this term.

  • Delta's Got Talent

    Today, we held our very own 'Delta's Got Talent', which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children and teachers. Over the past few weeks, the children have been busy practising and carried out an audition in their classrooms, who then voted for two acts to be in the final! We had our very own Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden, who were the judges.

    We had a range of talented acts from singing, to dancing and even speed doodles to the theme of mission impossible! Everyone, showed kindness and respect towards each other's acts and gave many cheers. It really shows that Delta really does have a lot of talent!

  • Sports Day

    Today, Delta had their Sports Day. The weather was sunny and lovely and the children really enjoyed taking part in all the sporting activities especially the competitive hurdles and sprinting races.
