52 Lives School of Kindness – Mental Health Awareness Virtual Assembly

It is Mental Health Awareness Week, which is organised by the Mental Health Foundation. This year's theme is 'Action' because, raising awareness is vital, but real change comes when we take action too: for yourself, for someone else and for all of us!

All of our Delta children took part in the 52 Lives School of Kindness – Mental Health Awareness Virtual Assembly. The children were also excited to see the special guest during the assembly – Rafferty Coope! Rafferty is the musical magician from Britain's Got Talent, who received a golden buzzer and was a semi-finalist. Raffety shared his top tips for taking action to improve your mental health. It was pure magic!

Finally, the children completed various activities, where the children understood that real change comes when you take action and being kind to others and to ourselves is a key part in supporting our mental health.
